I have an new unused set of Hoosier D06 28X10/17 slicks that i bought for my 15GT M6.

I have been focused on selling them but do I really need to? Should I use them on my 18'? It's a A10 3.55 diff car so maybe they aren't too tall?

I was gonna get some MT DR's but...

If not, they will be for sale :)

Id use em. They shouldnt be to sketchy as long as you run the stock front wheel/tire combo.

It would probably be quicker with radials, but if you already have the slicks, run them.

That was my thought, but if I already have them, what am I really giving up not running a radial.

That's two for slicks. LOL

Why is a slick slower than a drag radial?

It's kind of a wash. Slicks might have a better et because of 60 ft time but drag radial will have a higher mph due to less drag down the track. basically if you auto go drag radial and if your manual go slick.

If u dont have skinnies i would go radial,i am running the same hossier slick and the car is all over the place, now i am running 140 plus in the quarter but last outing was the final straw for the slicks. If u get away with running 15 psi or more u might be ok.but at 15 psi for me im spinning them in 2nd and 3rd and noway running them any lower psi.Im going with M/T et street r's.

I have a set from when I had my 16 PP. I haven't run them yet but I plan on it soon. I'd imagine a radial would give you a better 60' due to less sidewall flex but I doubt it's a massive difference if you aren't hunting for every 1000th of seconds.
