I wanna ask a question but I dont want it to sound like I am downing anyone cars cos I aint!
But why do peeps go with matt black stripes rather than gloss. Is there any reason for this other than looks (like gloss fades or something)?
I have a CO GT with a factory gloss black roof and plan to have rockers and bonnet stripes done in gloss black (to match the roof) but so many guys do matt black strips that I am wondering if I am making a mistake.

He's from the UK, as am I, trust me, that won't be an issue here :lol:


But.....yeah, that was traditionally why '60s cars had matte black hoods, especially race cars

if i do stripes it will be most likely gloss because I have a gloss black roush spoiler and oem black extractors

I thought about doing mine in plastidip. My friend did his and it looks neat, but i want the high gloss 3M vinyl to get the full window effect, so i might get someone to do it for me if i can't find the correct 3M vinyl.

i had them and returned them. they just look weird without the side part of roush valance and the front side wings on the roush fascia. they kinda just sit there all alone.
