I'm interested in who you go with and if they will do stripes.
I went with big worm graphix for stripes if you want to check them out I'd love to let you check them out.

Nice. It took some convincing and arm twisting to find the guy who does the ordering. He gave me his cell phone number and is supposed to call me with any new updates. I work in downtown Nashville and live in Thompsons Station. Crossing my fingers for decent gas mileage out of the 5.0
Do you have the T. rex mesh front grill? I believe i might see you from time to time in spring hill.

Who did you stripe install ?
I haven't installed them yet
I live in spring hill and am friends with the owner of a body shop in town, and he recommended auto trim in Columbia. I would like to go to a place in Nashville, if anyone has any suggestions, but I'll probably just go there. I'm going to swing by today and get a quote for the install.

got the driver side header out last night, honestly I think people are being a little over board on the difficulty of the install. Is it time consuming so far, yeah, has it been hard, no.

I would be interested in hearing the price of this quote when you get it.

So basically if you have the time then it isn't to bad to do but if you are in a rush you can see where it would get frustrating?

Is there any prep work someone could do to make it easier?

I absolutely would not want to be in a rush to do this, I'm overly meticulous so I'm threading in each and every bolt separate from the header to make sure the threads are clean and it's going in smooth. Working on jack stands is the worst part. If I had a lift I wouldn't have to contort myself under the car to get the right angle on certain things. I wouldn't say there is any real prep work to be done, just being patient and having the time to do it and not be rushed seems to be the key. I think if I had to do another car, it would go way faster since there are things you sort of figure out along the way. I really don't care to do another one though :)

I'll maybe finish it up this weekend, maybe not. I'm not really worried and since the wheels are off I waxed them and am looking at maybe just leaving the car up in the air while it's winter and doing some other mods while it's already in a torn down state.

Got quote at 200 today. Found a shop in Franklin that told me 90 dollars an hour. The guy who does the quotes was already out for the day, so I will get an exact quote at that shop tomorrow. From my impression of talking to the guy I believe it will be cheaper than the first place I was quoted at.

And they seemed to be ok with installing a kit from someone else?

They both seemed willing to. I will be talking to 12pointsignworks (the second shop that's in Franklin) when I get a chance for an actual quote later today. They had some nice pictures on their website of their work.

Let them know if they charge a good price to you and do a good job there is repeat business in their future. I'm definitely getting stripes put on in the spring and I don't foresee getting any less busy so I'm going to have to have someone else do it.
