From the pics Ive seen - looks like they are shipped with a 3rd party shipper - enclosed trailer, but those were 2015s, I think.

So, it would be nice to know how hey come shipped because the R's squat lower than a non-R, which, IMHO makes trying to get those beasts on the traditional hauler ver difficult and damage prone.

Man i step away for a dew days and its the Thunderdome in here, and not just this thread. I think its just too much Turkey and lack of cars driving everyone a little bit crazy.

I have to look for it, but I thought this was answered long time ago that some would be shipped convoy, some rail, and others with smaller independent shippers. Either way the only part thats covered is the airfoil and thats a shame.

Fortunately, mine came in A OK, but obviously others have not.

They look pretty much away from the elements on the rail cars . Judging from the picture. No hail damage to worry about.

While we are on the topic of loading Shelby's, there is a sticker on the side window telling the carrier to back the car on the transport and lower deck only. Why is this? Just curious.

I believe its due to ground clearance in the front. :ford:
