She's arrived Part 2

Back from the bodyshop & perfect. Shame it's dark now so can't get any decent pics. I'll get some tomorrow. Love the colour it really pops under the lights.
Obviously everyone has their own opinion but I've driven the GT & EcoBoost now which most others won't have done. I actually prefer the EcoBoost, it is so much lighter, the V8 feels really heavy especially up front. I know we don't want our Mustangs to be a normal car but the best way I can describe driving the EB is like a normal car, it's nimble and easy to handle. The V8 is a brute, it handles well but you constantly have a sense of how big & heavy it is, and by god it bites hard in the wet. Even the slightest throttle on a damp road sends the back squirming. It sounds glorious even with stock exhaust, the ecoboost sounds pretty good under acceleration, although it is quiet at idle.

I'll hopefully get some better pics tomorrow if it isn't chucking it down again.

I camped out over the mouse button overnight lol! Will definitely get some more pics tomorrow. Final touch will be my GH65 USA plate when DVLA get their backside into gear.

The GT is back at Benfield now so you can go take a drive. They've also just taken delivery of a black vert as well, think that's the showroom car though.

Nice one! As a fellow DIB owner (well, once it arrives) I'm interested in seeing it in the proper UK sunlight (have seen it in this colour on US soil, but the sun was a hell of a lot brighter there!). Interesting your experience of EB and V8. Obviously the larger engine will effect the dynamics, but for me that's what a V8 - especially in a Mustang - is all about. Then again, I've had more V8s than 'normal' cars I suppose

It's a colour on the current Ford range so if you look around it won't take too long to spot either a Fiesta/Mondeo/Transit in the same colour.

It looks fantastic when it's nice and clean but when it's not it looks like just another blue.

LOL - fantastic when clean. Bit like white then ;)

I know the colour is on other Fords, but there's no substiture for seeing on the car. The body lines/curves tend to accentuate different features (rear wings case in point)
