So this is a "little" over the top,......

But after making over 900 rwhp with the stock motor.
Anthony is planning ahead while he waits for his built motor to show up.

This car rocks a F-1A ProCharger system, with STG2 intercooler.

What's the upgrade cost to F1 from stage 2 D1 kit?
At the time of purchase, the upgrade is $775 retail.

However after the fact, the D1 would just need to be sold and a F1 would need to be purchased, since the F1 (and all versions of it) gear box shares no internal parts with the D1

What is the list price for both the D1 and the F1A? I am changing directions on my Corvette and it looks as though I might do the Aluminator with the F1A or F1X.

Don't know what to ask for the D1.

We don't have many people buy just head units.
However here are the MSRP prices on a new unit.

D-1SC = $2999
F-1A = $3556

But I have no idea what a used blower goes for obviously. Personally I would just research around the net, see if you can find a comparable.

Don't think we have had many people run the "X" on the coyote's, since the blocks can't handle the power an "x" can produce. Most people run the F-1A or F-1A-94 on full kill.

Should just piss everyone off and put an LSX Iron 370 in it and run 30lbs. :D:D:D:D

Well, out of the (4) Mustangs here in the office that are owned by employees.
Only (1) of them still has a Ford motor in it. (it happens to be a Coyote Swap)

So, it might piss off some, but at the track it would be considered "normal" LOL

I find this extremely offensive
Sorry but for high boost LS Iron block beats the Coyote. That is probably the best thing about the LSX platform. So many options with the OEM heads and blocks.

I know there are extreme editions of the Ford blocks but not OEM and as cheap as the LSX stuff.

As far as stock block to stock block... the LS an Coyote are pretty equal.

However, what sucks is that you can get the RHS, or LSX for the LS boys.
And there really isn't anything cost effective like that for Ford (yet)

In time I am sure a cost effective solution is coming. When you have heads that flow that well, and cams that work wonders its only a matter of time before you got blocks capable of what the old 96-98 blocks were/are.

Speaking of someone that is really hosed.... GenIII HEMI.

The fastest GenIII HEMI on the planet is ProCharger powered, but he literally is ripping the motors apart at the seams almost every single race event. (he has got the Iron 6.1L to live for a while now) because of the same lack of aftermarket support like the Coyote.

Which one produces more boost at lower RPM? When I had my Paxton 2200 on a Z06, it had to go over 5000 RPM before it would show 5lb on the Gauge. For city driving, that SC didn't do me any good

We make a race specific F-1A-94 which is peaky, but will flat out destroy any blower in its size range, and even the larger units of our competitors.

The standard F-1A is a "street" blower, with a very robust midrange boost/torque production. On some applications that could be 50-60 more ftlbs more then the "-94" sister version.

However on "kill" mode, the -94 will make about 150 more rwhp give or take, even with the same size compressor.

Plenty of heavy cars running 8s with the standard F-1A street blower.
And now many cars in the 7s with the "race" unit.

For my personal street car with a small cube motor, I would go with the standard "A". However if i had a big cube motor, that already made way to much TQ, then I would jump strait to the "94"

LS Next or LSX = $2400~

The MMR Coyote = $4,000~

Thats a decent price difference.
And thats still a modified stock block, not really a true "upgraded" block.

Not saying its not possible, just saying its not "common"
