Probably room for a turbo?

The purpose is, the stock location of the coolant tank is horrible. People are spending hundreds on coolant tanks because of how out of place it looks. I'd rather relocate the stock one over replace it.

PewterCam nailed it
OEM location is horrible plus I need to get it out of the way for a big hairdryer and 4" intake being installed tomorrow

cp-e will be releasing a CTR (coolant tank relocation) kit soon that will include a bracket, hardware, and new silicone hoses

@[email protected] Any news on this? My engine bay is in need of this like yesterday. That big empty space is calling the coolant tanks name. lol.

Any thought of putting it where the battery went? I mean mines in the trunk now...

That just seems a bit silly...

Will do when I can get some, but open your battery door and picture it without any battery there. Used a battery cable from a BMW spliced to the stock cable and pulled out of the way.

It could work but you would add 10+ft of coolant lines.

You'd also have to have some sort of bulk head fittings made to go through the battery box.

The lower hose on the reservoir would also go past the turbo in fairly close proximity.

sounds like a good bit of work. Did it on 2 of my old BMW's but they had the euro M3 coolant resevoir located there for those willing to spend the time to upgrade.

Where this kit is, wouldn't it hit the JLT Intake box?
