not by an accident. but by someone who felt the need to try and steal it.
smashed all the windows, driver side door. the interior trim on the driver side door is cracked and the entire ventilation system is covered in glass and needs to be replaced. to top it off, when i had it towed to the shop, the tow truck driver drug my left rear rim against the side of the trailer, and also popped my new PZERO tire. what a fucking day. gonna fix it and sell it since i cant seem to catch a break. rear ended 3 times and hit 1 time while parked. now this. shit.
pics to come probably. pretty upset about this whole thing.

edit, multiple dents on body paneling as well where the bat went through windshield. car was locked and no alarm went off.
tested the alarm after the fact. Armed it, reached in, grabbed the handle, and opened the car. no alarm goes off.

Security package....the alarm on every Mustang (and just about every single new car) is passive, meaning it will go off with ignition play or if you hit the panic button. Security package adds motion sensors in the car (for broken glass, etc.) making it an 'active' alarm. My old job had every employee car hit on the lot unless they were empty inside the car (no wires or change hanging out). Not a single alarm went off. People dont buy new cars without alarms anymore, everyone assumes electric locks and passive systems are alarms but they arent.

That sucks! I had some ass hole throw paint stripper all over my 99 SS, so I feel your pain. Even when I got it fixed, I just never felt the same about the car again. I think it was the violation of my personal space that upset me the most.
