Hi there

The plan is when I get my car I will add a Whipple supercharger kit and obviously an exhaust.

So as I will be adding the super charger does the 3" Corsa system offer better performance/horsepower over the 2.5" FRPP system?

I've listed at depth to the Corsa Sport Catback and FRPP Sport catback and they both sound amazing with zero drone, so I guess it really comes down to if the 3" offers any advantage over 2.5" with which system I go for. :)

Lastly a strange request has anyone got any driveby (NOT WOT) video say just cruising along at 20-30mph in 2nd/3rd with light throttle application with the Corsa Sport Catback and FRPP Sport catback please?

I ask because all the videos are either idle or WOT driveby, so would be good to hear how the two systems sound when just cruising on by with light throttle application. :)

as a previous frpp sport owner. it's great and I loved it...but if you are going with a supercharger and headers one day you probably wouldn't hurt to be looking at corsa sport vs borla s type 3"(similar to frpp sport by borla). I would pick corsa over the borla though because I think corsa tips look better than borla...but either are great exhausts.

FWIW, I like the Corsa Sport best of all the catbacks. The power is equal and minimal either way you go. OEM exhausts are very efficient these days because of EPA regulations. Swapping the catback on most all modern performance cars is because you want a better musical pitch from the car. The best bang for your buck when modding is always going to be getting a tune, no questions.

Either brand you decide to go we can help you get the best pricing for the products you want! We are a tier 1 vendor for both companies!

I am leaning more towards the Corsa Sport catback system to be honest, it seems to have a true muscle deep rumble and absolutely ZERO DRONE is important to me and I hear its a drone free system?

I TOTALLY agree with you!

Not having to yell at the boss when she's riding shotgun is a huge plus! Now when she yells at you mid burnout...that is a different story:lol:

if your supercharging the car, a full 3" would flow a little bit better, just depends on how far you plan to go, n/a doesn't really matter, but as you increase in power, you want to get the exhaust gasses out as quick as possible

For me drivability is the most important factor.

I don't want a 700BHP car with poor/lumpy torque/power curve or huge dollop of boost causing huge traction issues.

I'd rather a 600BHP car with a smooth linear curve and good traction, as the 600BHP with better drivability is the better car to drive and in the real world no doubt faster.

Plan is Whipple, throttle body, maybe LT's, catback and the largest (least horsepower pulley) to improve traction and engine reliability.

I am also an FRPP Sport convert as well. I had that debate on the 2.5" vs the 3" as well and with the plans to go FI I opted to swap to the sports as well they sound insane. In the videos I did I did some slow acceleration but never did a slow drive by

Yeah I watched your video with Corsa Sport catback, very nice.

Any chance you could do a slow drive by video please?

Here you go. Corsa Sports

2nd gear, 20mph 2k rpm accelerate just a bit to 2.5-3k

Nice!

Still be great to see someone cruising by at 20-30mph in say 3rd gear with very light throttle to just maintain speed, not actually accelerate. :)

Inside the car, you pretty much won't here it. Our car is pretty loud on the outside. ARH long system with Corsa touring axleback, off road with the 2.9 Whipple. You can have a nice full convo with having to yell at each other and best of all, ZERO DRONE!!
