The weather wasn't too good when I started racing. Unfortunately the temperature dropped really fast that day and I could only get a few runs in. They kept having to heat up and prep the track every 2 runs.

My first run I ran a 12.6 @ 115. My second run was by best run when I launched it at about 3K rpms and got a 12.23 @ 116 mph. My tire pressure was too high for these runs (32 psi) since I didn't want to risk dropping it down with a long ride home ahead of me and no way to pump it back up. All my other runs were 12.5-12.6 range because the tires wouldn't hook properly because of the weather and pressure. I missed 4th gear in two runs and still got a consistent 12.5.

One other thing I noticed was that line lock doesn't engage when there is a little bit of an incline? The burnout pit at the drag strip was on a slight incline compared to the other tracks I've been to with a flat surface. Yes, I'm not too good at doing burnouts myself lol so I was trying to rely on line lock to heat up the tires.

Hoping to get it into the high 11's with warmer temps and lower tire pressure. Here is the video with the time slip at the end:

Good job, should be in the 11's when those 60ft times get better. I would think the stuff hanging off the rearview mirror is distrcating. It would drive me nuts at the track flying around like that, just my 2 cents though.

You don't have the air pump in the spare tire location in the trunk?

Great runs btw!

Thank you sir and yes hoping to get into the high 11's next time I go. Haha you're right I didn't notice that until now while driving I was just in the zone.

I tried connecting my pump to my tire the other day. It didnt fit the stem properly for some reason? Not sure why. I have another 12v air pump I had bought from Advance Auto a while back. works like a charm for topping tires back off before leaving the track. Its was like $30? Can't remember.

That's strange I mean it's designed specifically for this car too I would think fitment shouldn't be an issue. That's not bad I would spend the $30 and just get that, thanks for letting me know about that.

It is like the pump hose screw on tip is too big for the stems on my tires? Not sure. I have the LMR Drifts .. came with 275 Invos already mounted.

Hmmm, I'll check mine and test it out to see if it's doing the same thing. Did you use the same valve stems that came with your OEM wheels and tires or different ones?

Nice run, believe it or not the cool weather probably helped u out alot.Your tire pressure was to high for a drag radial, thats what killed ur 60ft.Drop your pressure and another cool night u should be in the 11,s.Definitely 11second mph.

Thank you! You are correct running in cooler temps would benefit in terms of power. I was referring more to the downside of running on a cooler track for traction purposes. Yessir that is the plan I'm hoping for a 1.5-1.6 60ft and really want to get into the 11s

No, completely different setup. My OEM 18's are sitting in the building still mounted.

Stock base GT with PP 6spd. Off the shelf SCT tune and cat-back.

What should I expect to run?
