Stainless Power 1 7/8 Headers Unboxing

Took me about 4 hours to do the passenger side today and an hour to get the driver side off. The worst bolt/nut in the whole install so far has been the rear upper passenger side...F that thing! Had to pause for the night but will finish pulling the head studs out and putting the driver side LT on in the am.... Not a terrible install just longggg and there is no easy way to turn the header nuts on top so it takes a while. Basically the passenger side consisted of 3 hours of turning nuts and replacing with bolts... Getting to that point took less than an hour. On the drivers side it took 15 minutes to get to the header and 45 to get it off. Really easy to get off but none of those nuts spin easy!!!

I'll take a pic of all the tools I used; having each of them made my life easier! The absolute must though is a 15mm ratcheting wrench!

Oh and impact driver is useless, doesn't fit anywhere. Maybe used it on 3 bolts. Imma return it tomorrow.

Nice! I used an air ratchet wrench on the motor mount plates and that's about it for air tools. Just no room.

I'm going to put my 15mm ratchet wrench in a shadow box and throw it up onto my mantle! Doomed without one.

Yup...pivoting ratchet wrench saved my life. Ford, why the F are those exhaust studs so long, and so hard to thread the bolts? Once they're broken free they should just spin off!!!

All done, install was more tedious than hard. Took 7 hours total and a few cuts on my arms. Need to adjust my exhaust a little, have a small rattle. Otherwise headers fit perfectly! Here is an I car 2nd gear pull. Borla Atak is the exhaust, it will shatter windows at WOT.

Here's mine with the Gibson. Startup/idle and WOT sound ridiculous, and it's insanely loud driving. Driving under part throttle does have a little tinny/rattle sound, but I think that's just how these cars sound with catless headers. I may look for a solution.

Yeah I notice the tinny sound right away, something to get used to I guess. The little rattle is gonna drive me crazy though, I'll get it sorted out

Yeah i think there may be something touching. Also need to adjust my exhaust angle, didn't pay attention to the rear after I bolted it all back up.
