I'm ashamed to admit I had both inserts when I had a Mazdaspeed6
I ended up using no insert which sounds best

the cpe secondary fuel rail
basically its a port fuel rail with ID 725cc injectors to support power beyond what the OEM DI fuel system can handle

Everything looks great. We have made and tuned port fuelers for a few of our in house projects(custom turbo solstice, and the twincharged Ion Redline) they work great if tuned correctly. Looking forward to any Datalogs and comparisons you post up!

from what I remember, the gold insert is very close to the stocker in terms of shape
The purple insert has a different shape and produces a different sound
