You guys with your low car insurance...

I've been driving for 13 years. Never claimed a red cent on insurance, no accidents, no DUI or anything like that.. AND I'm driving the V6 over the GT.

Paying $120 a month. The lowest quote by quite far... Must be living in LA.

As for what I pay. $409 a month for 60 months. Put down 5k. At 1.9% APR. Options are 501A wheels and auto gear box. The taxes and fees really add up to the base price.
want me to rub it in? $375 every 6 months here :headbang:

not sure why anyone wants to live in those rape your wallet states!

That a GT or V6.

Yes we get taxed pretty hard here, on everything. Which is a shame as otherwise I could have afforded the convertible and made the most of the sunshine.

We pay more on insurance sure, but I will pay more for the weather that we have here.

Some people have to store their car during winter and have some really shitty weather.

I pay $150, with a point on my record (damn speeding ticket) and barely turning 24....could be way worse. No complaints

Wow. I pay double on a slower car. Who's your provider if you don't mind me asking? Maybe I never got a quote from them.

you're gonna put around 8k down, and have a $433 payment for 5 years.

who knows what insurance will cost, that's your problem. gas, depends on how much you drive.

The insurance racket is a deal breaker if you're not careful. All the big names were trying to charge me like $900 for 6 months, except Geico. They offered like $450 for 6, with some real solid terms and add-ons, and just in the last couple months they've lowered my premium. If geico didn't give me that rate I couldn't wisely have this car.

amica was the only good insurance I found.

I'm 24 with 1 comprehensive claim and many companies wanted 300+ a month. amica was less than 170 a month when combined with my homeowners and you only pay 10 months a year + you get paid dividends because you are essentially a shareholder of the company as a policy holder.

also i put 0 down, and my payment is 598 a month XD

I'm shooting to make 2 extra principal payments a year though
