Anyone going to Sears point for the Shelby Mini Nats August 7-9th? I'm sure there will be a GT350 there or several.

I'll head there if the GT350 will be there. Hopefully the R. Any way we can get confirmation? Maybe TopNotch can be nice and confirm?

Thanks for posting this thread - I'm in the area on other business next week and will definitely make plans to attend.

It's already been confirmed by NorCal Shelby that there will be at least one GT350 at Sonoma next weekend.

Then there will be several cars at Laguna Seca the following weekend for the Historic races.

There are no known events for following weekend but on the 27 and 28th they'll be at LS for the Track Tour event. I fully expect a GT350 to be at Sonoma on the 29th and 30th for the IndyCar and PWC races so lot's of opportunities to see the car in NorCal in August.

Indeed, it is! The car has the technology package. The Ford rep was allowing folks to sit in the car. The seats are quite snug but comfortable to me - perfect for the purposes of this car.

He did a few parade laps while I was there, but he car was drowned out by open header AC Cobras and slow traffic. I'm sure if he was able to put the hammer down I'd have heard it much better. There was a Honda Pilot and some other civilian cars out there doing 5MPH. I looked like HYW 101 during rush hour.

The car is very loud with the exhaust open, but it's a clean soothing high performance sound. You can totally hear that it's high compression. It's raspy without being annoying

Did they not have run groups at the mini-Nats? Seems strange to have a Honda pilot out the same time as an Gt350?
