Welcome to the Forums fellow dutchie ;). You're right about the availability. Mine is currently sitting at the docks in Baltimore. It is still expected to arrive 'late august' at best, so I don't expect showroom models available for test drives before that. You'd be wise to buy one still this year if you can, because the emissions tax will increase considerably again next year: Around 2k for the EB/MT and that's the most 'eco-friendly' option.

Sure, go ahead. Answers to a lot of questions and/or plenty of people willing to answer can be found on these forums though.

Actually it (BPM) goes up by 3.119 euro to 15.441 for 2016. Them bastards adjusted the price per gram already over the original 2016 plan.

Hello,

This is my first post on this forum, because I am very interested in the new Mustang. Before buying I really want to drive a Mustang first. But that will take some time, i think.....:tsk: Maybe in september??? Maybe sooner in Belgie?

Presentation of the new Mustang will be October 15th here in Belgium, according to a message I've received from my dealership yesterday.

No you have to order one today, hope they still have a production space available for October and pray that it will arrive before December 31st.

The car needs to be produced and billed to the dealer for them to apply for the registration. The day of registration determins the taxation level (2015 or 2016). Billing only happens when the car is actually in the Netherlands, so even if it has been built but is still on it's way by December 31st you're screwed.

I'm in that exact boat, since I only placed my order 2 days ago.

If the car does arrive before December 31st you are safe. Then they can apply for the registration based on the 2015 tax and still deliver the car on January 2nd 2016 as a '2016' car.
