I think it's funny where one guy says "It's pretty quiet isn't it?". I'm wondering what the average car on the streets of the UK sounds like. :)
A lot quieter than that :)

Just found out the GT350R will be there and will be driven up the hill by the old Stig!

Ken Block will be driving his Hoonigan Mustang and the new RS.

Where did you read that?

I've been checking the Goodwood website and Facebook page for update on what will be there, but hadn't seen that. GREAT news, if that's the case :)

Really?! .... If this is true ..... WOW!

Unfortunately I'm not going to the FoS this year, but if the 350R is going to be there does it mean? .... could it possibly mean? ..... dare we even think it? .... but is the 350R officially going to be coming to Europe?

Fingers crossed! .... my deposit is ready! :headbang:

That's the list of who's driving what:

Check out what Ben Collins is driving ;).
That's fantastic ....... The Stig is driving the 350R!

Maybe we can all dare to dream after all?! I just hope I'm not going to miss out on some kind of 'deposits only being taken at Goodwood' thing by not being there ..... and double hope the price will be as competitive as it is in the States.

Now I've got everything crossed! ..... :clap2:

Don't get your hopes up. Goodwood always features lots of cars/concepts that we never get to buy.

I suspect the GT350R being there is about building the brand.

But I, too, will keep my fingers crossed ;)

Y'all must be able to get some great vanity plates with those long plates.

I see many traffic citations in store for Yanks and Limeys alike because they traded their red and white taillights and thereby broke local vehicle codes. :)
The red lights can actually be made legal, and its also legal in the UK to tint the rear lights a different colour. I've seen blue, yellow, red and smoked in my local area and they're all fine. :)

The plates aren't that great as they have to follow a strict format and anything remotely resembling a word or name is removed and auctioned off. As with most things in the UK the DVLA are right up for screwing the most money out of us. For example MU57ANG sold for ÂŁ10,000 a few years back...
They're not that strict. It still follows the AB12 CDE formula, but you can still have fun with it. One of the best plates I've seen is a Mercedes C63 AMG - it just said "C63 LOL".

V8 MUS is also a valid plate and also being sold for ÂŁ10k!

I think Chris Evans has "FER 1" for one of his classic Ferraris. :)

Then, V850 MUS would be acceptable !!

More likely to be VB50 MUS

There is a car with MU55 TNG

But the problem is the price of those plates.
