If you get a ticket in this state for too loud of an exhaust, you probably strapped an F35 engine to your car.

Oooh! Can I?:lol::eyebulge:

I am almost 100% certain that Stainless Works is my pick. If I had my way, it would be open headers,:eyebulge: but this will have to do. It seems to be the loudest, the deepest, and the droniest (yes I know, it's not a word).

I would go for the full system, but I wouldn't be able to afford the installation for headers, so it will have to be just a cat-back system for the moment.:brokenheart:

Thanks everyone for the help to draw this conclusion. These forums ROCK:headbang:

You're in Florida - I've never heard of anyone getting a ticket for loud exhaust. :D

Take a little drive and come to the meet this Sunday in Lakeland and check some out in person...
I won't be able to make it.:(

Good luck with your purchase and install! You won't be disappointed. I grin like a little kid every time I fire her up or get on the throttle. Just a bit of a warning, you will wake up the neighbors with them thankfully I have some very understanding neighbors. I'm already planning on giving them all an early warning before I go with SW's headers lol.

ARH H Pipe Catback, SW H Pipe, MRT all seem to be the deepest loudest you can get
Can anyone tell me where the loudness of the MRT catbacks sits compared to the ARH & SW catbacks?

Is it much louder or comparable?

I haven't heard MRT's in person, but from vids I would put them pretty much inline with SW. IMO they sound close to SW but are a few hundred dollars more if i recall correctly.

several said H-pipe offers a nice deep sound. Is that a recommendation to do ONLY the H-Pipe install replacing the factory Resonator section? Or do people mean doing the H-Pipe along with an aftermarket exhaust (catback or axleback)?

Can somebody post a link or sound clip of just the H-Pipe install into otherwise still factory exhaust? Or is that not a plausible scenario?

thanks!

When people say H pipe, they mean usually mean a cat back with H pipe because all of them are usually available in either X or H. The X will give you the raspier Sound and the H will give you the throaty roar sound.
I want the power for headers and a nice deep tone so I'm either going to do headers with Magnaflow competition or street or a full satinless works system with H pipe
Don't want insane loud or drone

Full SW headers/cat backs in any of their flavors are going to be loud lol...that's one of the whole point of their retro systems. It's supposed to be mean and loud :)

I don't have the headers, but I do have the 3 inch cat backs and they do drone a bit around 65 mph at 2000 RPMS in sixth gear. I don't mind it but I know it drives some people nuts.

Original. I got mine before the LMF version was available.

I can tell you that the ARH H-pipe with headers does not drone, but it is loud when you put your foot in it, or so says my neighbors.
