There were so many complaints about the blandness of the engine cover in the months leading up to production, and I've seen some of the coyote guys with painted engine covers (maybe even a v6 IIRC), but none of the EBs. now that its getting warmer I might take a crack at it. Just looking for some examples if any one has already done it.

I have done it. I will post pics pretty soon. The weather is just turning decent, so I need to put it back on the car.

The holes for the bolts-nuts are deep also so getting paint down them might be tricky.

Since my car is Oxford White, I'm having my engine cover hydrodipped in the artic camo. I think that it'll look pretty good and hold up well over time.

I'm planning on painting mine, along with the fuse box cover Oxford White at some point. Would love to see a couple others try it first to get some insight/advice.

My radiator cover is fucked up, like he used like a knife of some sort to rough it up so I'm afraid to clean it because it might chip lol. Fuse cover is perfect. Cheap way to make your engine bay spark. I don't do a lot of shows so to me to was a want.

Out of curiosity is the cover all one piece? I'm looking at a bunch of pics online and it looks like it might come apart in a couple pieces. It might be cool to do sort of a two tone paint job on it i.e. black and white or black and yellow.

it comes off as 1piece. You can still do a two-tone paint. Just mask off.

Gonna drop these pictures off here if you don't mind Ecosnake, and if anyone else wants to post something up it'd be appreciated.
