In my book - thats not a great thing (though not bad). I realized that Ford didnt create any easily visible Ford or Mustang signs (the front pony is small, the Ford sticker on the top windshield is hard to see and the rest is in the interior).
I've been stopped a few times by folks who ask what car it is. When I ask them to guess, one of the most common responses I get is Jaguar (????!!!) and Aston. I have yet to see a yellow Jag or Aston.
I also had a few people say Audi.
To be fair, the Mustang is also not a really common car out here - way more Audi's and BMWs.
Growing up lusting after American iron (I grew up abroad with posters of Vipers and Stangs on my walls) I don't have any bias against American cars as long as they are a competitive offering (which this S550 is more than) - so I remedied the situation with a side stripe with Mustang on it (from Ford).
Do you guys get your Stang confused for other cars?
