Triple Yellow vs. Competition Orange

Once, and for all, I've seen both in person finally. Unfortunately, different trims.

I was all set on Triple Yellow (from all the pictures I've seen) but walked into the showroom last week, and there it was, a V6 Competition Orange, and I simply fell in love with the color. So true pictures don't do justice for this color.

Today I went to check something in the showroom again, and that V6 was gone. I asked one of the salesmen if they got any V8, and he had one in the back storage. And of course in Triple Yellow! It looked nice, especially with the 50 Years Appearance Package. And I'm confused again. I wish I could have seen CO with the Appearance Package.

SO, anyway, which one would you go for?

Edit: I'm getting the Automatic Transmission, so unfortunately no Performance Package.

I do not see the question here, CO is obviously a faster color than any other.

You folks are all color blind and clueless.

Triple Yellow is obviously the faster color.:first:

Plus, I bought TY and I would only get the finest color.
Everything else is playing catch up.

Even Ford thinks Triple Yellow is better because they charge more for it.

Objective opinion: both colors are beautiful and it could really be a question of availability, which color is available with the options and packages you want. if you're the kind of person to like these types of colors, then you won't be disappointed either way.

Biased personal opinion: one color to rule them all, competition orange!

My CO GT Prem PP is hitting the assembly line this week. I feel like a kid with Christmas only 4 weeks away. Especially more that I switched to the Recaro's. Come on Santa!

I dont have to tell you which I prefer, though the CO is a very nice color as well.
It is a tough choice.

























But keep in mind, yellow is the faster color and good for an extra several RWHP!

This is the most delusional thread I have ever read. Clearly Race Red is faster than CO or TY, but if you want to lose out on 50 horsepower, that's on you...

Triple Yellow is just a reference to the price of the tickets when the police finally catch up with you.

While it is 100% factual that Triple Yellow is absolutely faster in a straight line, Comp Orange will take it in the corners every time. That is why it has the name Comp Orange, because you can't beat it and nothing rhymes with it.

Now if you add a stripe to Comp Orange it might even take Triple Yellow in the straights!

I wanted CO so bad I sacrificed the PP for it. (No CO GT PP's available when I purchased, and I needed a car so couldn't order)

Was scared I would regret it but really don't. Love the color, and over time I can build my car up how I want, and better than it would have been with PP.
