Help me decide on a cervini hood

I've had several Cobra R hoods, they fit perfectly and are light weight. Plus it give that aggressive look that grabs peoples attention. I'm planning on putting one on my 2016 vert. Everyone else seems to be throwing the GT500 or GTD hoods on. At the end of the day, you gotta do what makes you feel good about looking at it, but keep your original hood too. You never know when you might want to revert back to original.

Yeah I feel like the gt500 hood is just so played out that even stock is starting to look better to me.

The other thing to think about is your strips. Are you planning on keeping them or removing them all together? Personally I've just not seen the dual stripping on a Cobra R hood, don't know how that would look.

I am keeping my stripes, I think the car looks plain without them. From what I can see online, I will be the first one running stripes on a cobra r hood.

have AI put your strips on that hood so you can see if it lines up correctly. That may help you decide, because the louvers may interfere.

I think the GTD looks good for sure. I like being different, so Cobra R for me, or the 4" Cervini.

Yeah decision has been made, I am going with the Cobra R hood. I have a build thread on here if you want to give it a follow. I will post pictures there once it's all done.

Also have a custom painted and engraved rear seat delete on the way.

Here’s what the view goes to. You loose a little bit of visibility at the bottom, but it’s easy to get used to. Vents pull a bit of air when you’re moving and if you’re hot and sitting still, no issues with fogging up like the old school set ups had, and one quirk is that your wipers won’t flex out for replacement like they used to. Basically better than factory as someone else mentioned. Still looks way better though

I never even thought about the fogging up the windshield. That makes sense as all the heat is directed towards the windshield now. But you're saying it's never a problem? Even if its hot out and ac is on.
