I don't think I want custom. Just want the standard issue LE with number on it

Anyone think I can get my dealer to pay for these "extras" out of the ADM I already paid them?

Cool that they'll do a custom-illuminated laser-etched logo.

Looks like UPS attempted to deliver a package at the house today from Detroit. They left a notice that a signature is required. They will attempt delivery again tomorrow.
That happened with the Boss kits in 2012. REAL pain. You cannot sign the "waiver" and just have it left. NOR can you go to UPS (at least not in 2012) and pick it up--you have to be home for a direct hand off.

I got home right shortly after UPS had been there for the 2nd time and leaving a note threatening to return it to the sender (refusing to honor the 'signed waiver slip I had left)...I went nuts on the phone with UPS and they had the driver backtrack 10 miles just to shut me up.:frusty:

Dang-hate to go through that again. But with my LE purchase only a week old my kit won't be happening for a bit.

Bingo...not sure if I'll install but I just can't let this pass....just needs to go with this car. After $47k plus T and Lic...not gonna say no now...heck..already spent over $80 on Lloyds mats to save the originals.

Just tried the website on the card "fordshowparts.com" and it looks like the '15 products are not posted yet.

Agreed! Note any Mustang owner can put there name on the sill (05-15). I'm totally going with the numbered LE ones.

Wife called me, ours was delivered about 1 hour after I left the house for the week! Go figure.

Anyone else slightly disappointed? I kind of had my wild dreams for a track fob enabling some mode on our engine, realistically dreaming an invite to Ford Performance school where they just put '15s for cars with some Anniversary cues... you know, things like the Boss 302s had. Also disappointed they didn't take the time to machine numbered plates on the manual to match the dash. It did end up just like the one sold on Ebay a while back.

Maybe I just had too high of hopes. Some really cool stuff nevertheless, unfortunately another $700 to get the really nice items. I feel like the door plates should have come with it. I can understand paying for the picture.

I won't be able to read mine until Friday. Anything significant in the Owner's manual?

When I made the decision to purchase my LE I was unaware of the "Welcome Kit" and it had no impact on my decision. Having said that, I too am a little disappointed. Its contents have been the subject of a lot of speculation on here and many people had some really cool "ideas" of what it might include. Like Siggy said, perhaps we let our imaginations run a little too wild, causing our our expectations to be unrealistic. Not really sure why the LE lighted door plates were not in the car when purchased and, personally, I do believe the picture should have been included in the welcome kit. But it is what it is. I will likely get both the picture and the LE door plates and continue to love this car and be glad I made the decision to get it.

I was kind of expecting a little robot horse that displayed a hologram of Henry Ford asking for my help to save the Mustang. He was saying I was his only hope and I had to do battle with several evil Camaro's to save the blue oval. Of course the robot horse would ride shotgun and tune my car for optimum output during our adventure. You can imagine my vast surprise and disappointment when I got a book about old cars, another owners manual, and a phone charger.
