I hear you but if she wants a retractable roof I gotta go four-door which is not my game but I will at least look at them because happy wife makes happy life. I never thought I would own an SUV type vehicle in my life.
Not to be a smart—-s, but really, why care. You have the car that matters. :cwl:

Ive owned two broncos. A 22 Badlands sasquatch and a 23 Wildtrak. They are SICK vehicles. Removable roof is money. Gobs of power with the 2.7L v6 and tons of tech. I'd buy another. Probably a 25 badlands sasquatch but with the HOSS 3.0 option. Thats the Wildtrak suspension system thats now an option on the BDlands since the WT is gone.

They are sick trucks. With the hoss 3.0, they are super tight on the street and highway. Easily go 100+ on the street or dirt with them. Lots of fun. Miss my WT dearly.

thank you for your input and thank you everybody for what they’ve put forward whether good or bad. I’m gonna take a look at it next week and see what I can find out about what we want. This last post makes me feel very good. But I will take the bad as well. Thank you all.

I've been contemplating 2 Dr Bronco and for 2025 I'd get 2.3 L with Ford tune and either the ridiculously expensive Ford fully retractable soft top option or and aftermarket soft top.

If Ford still offered 2.7 in lower trim 2 Dr I'd go for that.....mainly because I like the ride and look of base model steel wheels and narrow tires.

2¢ here... My wife drives a 24 Outer Banks 4 door and we both love it. Call it an SUV type vehicle if you will, but it's way cooler than 99% of the other SUV type vehicles out there. We love how easy the top flips back.

Have anyone saw the crash tests for these new broncos? They smash into an accordion.

Yes, that indeed is by design to save occupants.
We tend to look back at vehicles made in the 50's and 60's in a somewhat positive light, pointing out how rigid/strong they were built. Having lived in that time I know that even at slow speeds the force transmitted to the occupants could be brutal. I suppose you could compare the transition to what we've seen in NASCAR with the NextGen car. The original NextGen design did not have crush/crumple zones and concussions increased. So crush zone features have been introduced.

Um, it's so much more than that. The structure integrity of that vehicle is very weak. But anyway, good luck with it.

Looks good to me windshield didn't even crack, passenger cell totally intact enveloped with airbags. Ford knows how to do it just look at auto recyclers sites and see how much damage S550 takes with no passenger cell deformation....no wonders there are all close to or over 4000 lb for relatively compact vehicles that would have weights 3000 in 2005.
