Hopefully this is on the right form.
I'm looking at ordering my Mustang soon, this'll be my first car and I want to make sure I pick the right insurance (if there's a difference). I'm currently with Geico, I'm 24 (25 in september), with no accidents. My current car is a 77 Corvette as a daily driver.

Is Geico the best one to be with? What has been your experience?

Thanks!

Edit- There seems to be a confusion about what I'm asking. I am not asking about price.
I am asking about how you/your car were handled/treated when in an accident.

Geico is the cheapest for me. Plus, they have always taken care of my cars after accidents. I have been rear ended 4 times in the past 5 years in Tampa.

Geico was cheapest for me - YMMV. Just remember - no insurance company is truly "on your side" - check your policy extremely carefully and consider getting a dashcam if you live in an area where accidents are common.

I have State Farm, and my agent told me prices are dependent on driving history and not age. With that said, I pay 375/6 months for my Taurus, and with my GT my premium will jump 200 bucks with geico. So still under 100 a month, which isn't too bad. 26, 2 accidents over 7 years ago and two tickets.

Exactly. Insurance isn't something you can get any insight from using others rates. Based on location, on deductible amount (I choose 250 but many choose 1000), what your state mandates, your age, whether you are adding gap insurance as well, etc etc etc etc etc There is no one answer.

Tampa is a scary place to drive.

My car insurance is with USAA. When I got my insurance, Geico wanted $50 more month than USAA. USAA has great insurance and if you can get their services, I'd take a look.

I'm asking for others opinions because every insurance company can claim to be great. But only those who have the insurance can speak to their claims. Especially in California.

Great! Have they been fairly easy to deal with/hassle freeish?

USAA isn't very common in California, least not in my area. Have you or anyone you know been in any accidents while with them?

Maybe my question wasn't worded correctly for you to understand?

There are insurances out there that are difficult to deal with, don't want to take care of their members and just overall no better than politics. But the chances of finding out is hard. I've googled various insurance companies and they are filled with mixed reviews.

This is just one other place to use to see what other's experience is with.

So bottom line, I'm not asking for price. I'm asking for how they handled an accident.

Hopefully that makes it easier for you and anyone else who was confused.

I obviously didn't see it. Could you be helpful and provide the link? Instead of not being helpful and just ranting?

Thank you.

Nope nobody that I know of. However I've always had great customer service from USAA.

I'm not asking about prices. I'm asking how people were handled when accidents happened. For example, my girlfriend has Mercury Insurance and they basically refused to fix her car even though she has proof the accident was caused by someone else. And she's still fighting it.
