So I just reached the 1st 1000 miles on the odometer (came a lot quicker than I thought it would) and I still haven't popped the hood. Anything I should be checking or making sure is in line? No this isn't my first car but it is my first sports car. I've got a '15 EB PP.

After staring at 2015's online for 5+ months, finally seeing, sitting, pawing all over, and driving one, then getting mine and pretty much going over every square inch of it, I can't relate to not even opening the hood after a 1000 miles. Check the oil. ;)

True! Yea I was thinking maybe if you're working 18 hours a day, lol. Take time with her over the Christmas holiday!

Wish I got the holidays off... Lol

Will definitely be more cautious about checking the oil.

The inside latch is on the left kick-panel - kind of toward the driver's door from the dead pedal. The underhood latch is "down" as you slide your hand in, and pushes to the right to the unlatch.

In the trunk under the spare tire unless you ordered the PP in which case it is only available if you sit in your seat at a 90 degree angle and chant "Sum Alla Bum" over and over.

New car check the oil now, hood latch is under the hood.

Heck I'm picking mine up today, I've already checked the oil, looked to be a quart low. I will check again today before driving off the lot.

I've tried looking under the driver's dash and didn't see it. I'll look harder.

Look at the front bottom of the driver door... go slightly right and close to the floor, the latch is right there
