Hey everyone!

Im looking for some suggestions. Ive begun some upgrades on my 2016 Mustang GT PP and my mechanic/friend has suddenly disappeared.
Could really use a shop to help with the rest I have going on.

So far ive upgraded cams, intake manifold (gt 350), gt350 87mm TB, jlt airbox, mmr phaser deletes, 80lb injectors.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks in advance

In Kirkland as well! Brad is good for basic car stuff... once you start building, tuning or do anything outside of basic stuff he wont do it. Plus hes probably the priciest around

Are you talking about brads custom auto?

I’ve never been there but I heard that’s the place to go for header install. I’m north of Seattle and the other shops I’ve seen are a much longer drive for me

For Sure. I had inquired about some transmission work (building my tranny) along with tuning and was given the cold shoulder. Ended up finding a shop down south where I was able to get my fuel system installed along with the shop working with Lund tuning to tune the car.
I think you will be fine for headers. Once a shop sees a built car, I think they are weary in touching it if the work wasnt done through them

Not any solid info or places to go after procharger install..

Wheres The work party? Lol
im about to do a procharger kit (haven’t done before ) and just did a catback and thinking of doing Lt,s also

There’s no one in this state I would use for tuning. With remote tuning abilities, data logging, etc I would only go with someone that is widely known and has a solid reputation.
I need to find someone to do a header install and brads auto was the only place I’ve found. I’ve also thought about finding a ford tech that would be willing to do some side work.

Right on.

Ya, been talking with Shaun at Aed and will most likely do a remote tune from him.

I had called Brads back in September. He said he could work on my car but he was booked out to December. I told him "ok, book me, I can wait" just then he said "well, we aren't taking appointments right now"

I said "wait... what? You are booked till Dec but suddenly aren't taking appointments but you know you're booked till Dec, which means you have been taking appointments. What would you like me to do in Dec?" He said, "Call back in Dec"
I replied "so you can tell me you're booked out till March?"

He said "probably"

"Look Brad, if you don't wanna work on the car just say so but don't set people up like that. That's a total douche move"

His reply, "it is what it is"

So, if he were the only game in town.... I'd just go to school to learn what I want to do. Which, I have begun doing.
Games are for children and don't belong in businessBrad's...

My project will take longer and thats ok. I will end up not only retaining my dignity but also benefitting in the end in more ways than 1.

So in my experience, as far as after market and performance add ons... seek someone else other than Brads...

Thanks for the info. Shame that we don’t have a single reliable place around here.

I’m still considering asking around at a few of the ford dealers in my area, 1 in particular that has a high volume of Shelby warranty work, if I can find a tech that is looking for side work. I know of one of the guys that has a nicely modded gt.

You should give Turbo Technology a call down in South Tacoma. They installed a set of long tube headers and dyno tuned my procharged 15 GT. It was night and day between the canned tune from procharger and after with the dyno tune. Matt is who did the dyno.
