Im right in the middle of that crossover, closer to 50 than 40 (hard to believe). I prefer lighter wheels, but black has grown on me with some colors. Black with silver, white, orange, gray, some reds looks good. Most blues, greens, some reds, some grays I prefer aluminum, chrome, or silver. Plus all the other new options with coatings bring a lot to the game, have seen a lot of great combinations with bronze, gold, gray etc. On a car with stripes, if they are white I think black wheels clash. In the end, to each their own, rock out with it.

I have to agree that car color has a lot to do with wheel color choice. I put the black in storage. Get more compliments with the brushed aluminum.

Not a senior but more than halfway there... If I wanted 20 inch wheels and if these are ever released, I think they would look fricking amazing. I love the magnum 500 style. Had them on my first two cars way back in the early 90s (cars were 54 and 65 Fords).

Scroll down to the Pine to Palms wheels.

I really like those way better than the "all black" wheels. Way more "Classy" IMO.

Iā€™m 50 and this is my first pony. Coming from 30 years of lifted trucks. Love my black wheels against the Carbonized gray paint.

Yeah they are almost cool enough to make me change my mind away from square 18s and up to 20 staggered. I had emailed to ask if they were planning any other sizes but have not heard back yet.

I'm 51 years old, and at first I really disliked black wheels. My 2016 GT had the silver PP wheels. My 2019 has the black PP wheels. While I can't say which I like better, the black wheels have really grown on me. I definitely get more compliments on the black wheels, but I sure miss that Ruby Red.

This makes me want to get my PP1 wheels powder coated. They are black on a Deep Impact Blue 2016 GT, lowered with spacers like these. I am not a fan of black wheels. (I'm 51) they can make the wheel look small, and highlight the greys and browns in the tire. They can also highlight what's behind the wheel which can look pretty ratty. Sometimes I think the nickel finish on the early PP1 wheel can be a bit too bright in the sun with the complexity of the spokes. I think a slightly toned down silver is the way to go with these early PP1 wheels.

I'm only 47 but I think black wheels are fine... chrome wheels on a modern car should be punishable by death.
I had them on my 2007 and loved them. Now Iā€™m into black šŸ˜Ž
