This is a nearly-new Borla Touring Resonator Muffler (part #60561) for a 2015-17 Mustang GT.

Fits the Borla ATAK Cat-Back Exhaust (140591) and the Borla Stinger S-Type 2.50-Inch Cat-Back Exhaust (140590).

It retains the great deep sound but tames down the extra loud bark. Does not cause drone.

I used it on my 2016 Mustang GT premium (Stinger S-type exhaust) for about three weeks before deciding to remove it at the behest of my kids. They love to hear the Mustang roar at WOT.

I’ve been looking for a little more sound from my Roush axlebacks and was thinking an aftermarket resonator might be the answer. I’ve seen pretty mixed reviews on whether it’s louder than the stock resonator or not. Having owned it, what do you think? I’ll have research more as well.

I bought this 2016 GT used and it already has the Borla exhaust system on it. I found the Type S to be quite a bit louder than stock. With the Borla resonator it's definitely still quite a bit louder than stock. To my ears it just removed the raspiness and some of the harsher tones I found irritating. I'd describe the sound as smoothly aggressive. It definitely still roared when heavy on the throttle. hen again I am well past middle-age so I'm sure the younger folks may have a different opinion.
