Good....I was trying to figure out if the issue that jmtoast has was related to the gear ratio and the shift into 7th gear.3.55

You will definitely not hit 7th gear in the quarter mile. 3.55 geared cars hit 7th in the 120s.....depending upon rpm at shift point.Wouldn’t the 3.15 take longer to get into 7th gear vs 3.55 which means I’d have less chance of having what Jim is experiencing by the time I got to 123?
At the track I’ll be running 3.15/27.4 tire combo
It will be interesting to see what Roush tells Jim about his issue. I am not clear if his cars fails to shift or exactly what it is doing when it hits 123 mph and stops pulling. Apparently, others are not having the issue. I won't know what mine does until I get to the track. If the 6th to 7th shift point is only 7000 rpm, a car with the 3.55 gear should shift to 7th at 125.62 MPH. I am hoping the shift point is at a bit higher rpm. If it is 7200, it shouldn't shift until 129 mph. That is probably faster than a P2 will run in the quarter so it wouldn't need 7th.I figure so but I would assume my car would go faster then 123 now, after all I went 118 NA
If I don’t pick up 8/10 mph I’d be upset (126-128) so I guess I could still see this issue Jim’s having too?
Just got off the phone with Gavin at Roush. It is a known issue. They were working on the calibration to address the issue when covid-19 shutdown the state. They didn't give me any other details other than to open a case by sending an email to [email protected] detailing the issue and providing vin+mileage of your car.I figure so but I would assume my car would go faster then 123 now, after all I went 118 NA

I have 3.55. Keep in mid Im not starting from a dig. Between 45-60 mph. Have no idea what gear I started inIf you have the 3.15 gear and the shift from 5th to 6th occurs at 7200, it shift at approximately 123 mph. I wonder if Jim has the 3.15 gear and it is the 5th to 6th shift that is causing his issue???
Yeah they said they were working on correcting the issue just before covid-19 shutdown the state. Michigan has some of the strictest rules and the Detroit area is one of the hardest hit areas in the country. I'm very hopeful they will have a fix. My guess is it affects all their 2020 stage 3 and Jack Roush editions. They can't afford to have $80k+ cars with an issue like this.Wow, both ED and Roush in same boat. Crazy... Hopefully Roush will do the right thing and alter the tune.
