the paint kit was a pain in the ass. i bought a G2 caliper paint kit but the color looked nothing like the pictures on their site. so i ended up just using it as a base and then using some duplicolor metalcast on top of it.

Door hinge and plate covers from Amazon.

I saw those and ordered them. It seems to me there is bound to be a better description for "Door hinge..." covers; the joint that gets obscured is the door-opening-width-limiter. The eBaY vendor who supplied mine, and the pictures, called it a "Door stopper..."

Both items cheap at twice the price, and did snap smartly into place. The door stopper vendor sent two packages of two, a surplus of two; the plate cover vendor sent two packages of four, a surplus of six.

Today I got around to testing the E85 from my local station. Turned out to be 85% Ethanol.

Added the Corsa GT350 cat-back to my GT, along with Steeda diff bushings. Took off the Ford Racing gt350 exhaust kit. Tune and catted headers going in the following weekend.

I'm glad I saw this. I too bought a G2 Blue Kit - where did you get the duplicolor metalcast?

So whats the deal with that....tell me more, why, whats the benefit etc.

The benefit is the hold of 40% more then the stock clutchs. My car will be getting lund dyno tuned next week at evolution performance. 3.5 pulley and e85 should put the car over 800whp. The stock clutchs would hold for very little and would need to be done at some point. So I figured my as well do them now.

yeah the g2 stuff comes out like a pastel blue. nothing like in the pic. the metalcast stuff i picked up from the local auto parts store (pep-boys). you just have to spray it really lightly. its a thin paint and will run.
