Says the guy that's speculating. No dumb comments in here... just some people... aka YOU... think you know everything. You have no idea what really happened unless you were there when it happened. No need to be a dick.

But the thing is the op drives an orange fury Mustang and has his buddy park in a way to protect it from damage. And he parked at the last spot supposedly farthest away where the bad drivers never park cause their too lazy and don’t care about door dings. And probability just happened to make that moment the moment somebody decided to bash the front of his car over that 5-8 mph threshold and immediately leave without trying to make it right. Right off the bat that person has no scruples. Sort of like a jealous person who likes screw around with someone when nobody’s looking? Nah - must be some little old lady that can’t drive.

Yes i was the last spot in my row. I was backed into the spot. My brother was parked on the drivers side. No spots to me passenger side. Im hoping to get more information this weekend. I asked the casino again for help on at least reviewing the footage. Like i mentioned before my car was about 20ft from the security camera. I know there are 2 entrances/exits to that garage with speed bumps. There are also cameras there as well. I will post up any updates if im able to see who cased the damage. A license plate would be ideal.

I have a simple viofo a119 v2 capacitor dash cam that can withstand hot temps. I have two in my mustang, front and back. Would catch rear enders on phone like I had when rear ended in my fusion.

I am reluctant on hot wiring them or having them on always, drains battery.

A silly bonus I have is a 170 degree cheap wifi rechargeable nondo zus license plate back up cam placed on my front for curb and wall parking, where I must park front in only.

I also ran the 650 BlackVue in my 15 whipple E85 car and caught the dealership loading a stock tune into it and running it til it lifted a cylinder head (then tried to cover it up.)

I now have a 750 2channel BlackVue in my new mustang. PoweMagic pro mine records 12 hours after key off. Alerts, cloud upload, 5ghz Wi-Fi connection. Its really nice.

Sorry man. My honda which has no dash cams got door dings and scratches and even hit from behind while parked 4 times in three weeks in Indiana when we moved here. So mad - but people genuinely don't give a F - which is sad all on its own.

That is absolutely zero evidence of anything deliberate.

Whether or not the person left deliberately is a different story and I'd agree that could be a likely thing.

Even dumber is someone who suggest that it was deliberately snipped. That is clearly a tear in the metal - not a cut.

I have a theory. Yes only a theory. OP was parked in a secure place and had his brother's car protecting his stang on the drivers side. Very strange how the damage on the protected side. Not much has been said about the Mustang being parked in casino parking garage. My theory is someone lost their azz at the craps table. He was pissed and in a foul mood. Upon leaving the casino parking garage he sees this new Mustang sticking out like a sore thumb.

For what it’s worth, all the damage on my previous Mustang was deliberate. I guess the jagged long scrape on the driver’s fender where I would always see it was a little old lady who couldn’t drive deciding to park her car at the furthest spot from the entrance and then lost her balance getting out, grabbing her BuckMaster Knife she just happened to be holding (to break her fall) and then accidentally scratching my front fender - with all her might going right through and gouging even the metal - right where I would see it every time I got in it. Yup, that’s how it happened. To think otherwise is just plain stupid...

I didn't explain how it happened because I do not know.. The evidence, which is likely on camera according to the OP, seems to be being held close by the casino

I stated how it did NOT happen... that is a tear in the metal along with accompanying smudge mark from being hit by what is likely another vehicle... not a cut with a pair of snips.

Your comprehension sucks...which would make you the joke.

I just turned my Mobius action cam that I was flying around on my drones in to my dash cam last week. It wouldn't have helped with a parked incident with this but it is a nice peace of mind for cheap when driving.

I installed it because a few weeks ago some dumbass lady decided to merge in to my lane inches from my front bumper and then slam on her brakes because of traffic. I rear ended her shitty van and none of the witnesses stopped so I was out of pocket for a bumper.

Instead of beating him in a street race I matched speed as he ran out of road and almost off the road. I guess he was pissed off. BTW: As I told people here before I regard this damage as dueling scars and never fix them up. Have a nice day tough guy...

I have a dr650-2ch in one car and just put in a dr900s-2ch in the Mustang. The 650 paid for itself, recorded 3 accidents and proved error of other drivers every time. the front camera is 162 degrees. Got mine on Amazon 2 weeks ago they must have been on sale $360 w/power magic pro. now $480. had it installed last weekend. Hope I never need it.

For those that think people are all good and wouldn't possibly think of vandalizing another persons car, I have 2 reasons that you need to wake up. 1973 Grand Torino Sport in perfect condition parked 20 spaces from the closest car in grocery parking lot. I get back to the car and on the driver's side rear quarter is a clear foot print mark and nasty dent. You could see the heel and rest just like a foot print. Still nothing else near the car. Next, 2004 Black terminator Cobra, again perfect shape. Parked at a bar to see a (night) hockey game. Next day I see what looks like a scratch on the rear bumper. Look closer and the lower facia is broken. The I see a scuff mark next to the break and realize that some low-life booted the bumper. No chance that is was another car based on the small area of the scuff.
If you've never had a car vandalized count your blessings because it is a sickening feeling to think people would ruin someone else's property like that. It happens... Jealousy, camaro vs mustang people, mustang haters, etc. That said, I have no idea what happened in this case.
To the OP, I would get a lawyer, or your insurance company to call the casino and 'suggest' that it would be in their best interest to release the security video. Good luck and let us know what you find out.
