The home deal has been struck and the business case approved. I have been. Looking at this and options for months and boiled it down to two.

They are Whipple Stage 2, Xforce headers no OPG upgrade as advised its not really money well spent - Whipple tune advised estimated a safe 650 BHP

Or Roush stage 2, with wortec Right header replacement, OPG replaced and custom tune. Estimated 727 BHP

Both are broadly the same price but what I don't want is for me to send the car away and then dick about with remote tunes on a trial and error basis. I just want to drop it off, pick it up and go WOW.

I will make my own mind up after a while, I tend to be belligerent like that, but I would really be open to other considerations, genuine experiences before pulling the trigger on one the above options. Or indeed if someone has a better plan.

Getting real now !

On the figures you posted alone, the roush, mind you, i know a protuned Whipple would pull like a freight train after watching mac doing it numerous times.

Mind you, i've not seen a roush and a whipple lined up. With Whipp stage 2 you probably want to do the OPG and FPG with it (same with the roush) so it's a no brainer.

Also one to look out for headerwise is i know ARH are bringing their kit out soon (or already do?! Guy@NemesisUK ??) could be worth looking into them.

I am not sure how much additional HP one would get between full header set and simply upgrading the crappy right hand side we have. But it's something else to research

Not a lot, but long tube will provide more due to diameters, flow, etc.

I guess it comes down to the question of would I notice the difference between 720BHP and 730bhp....or something like that. I am not sure I would !! Both would be nuts!

I did see it yes, i think my post was directly comparing two options rather than generic. But it was useful

FWIW I fitted my own, I had no experience in fitting the SC but I did do my research and read the instructions, watch the videos. The only thing I bought to do the job was a torque wrench.
I went with a phase 1 roush and it was my intention to do the headers but after I fitted it a drove it I just thought, you know what this is insane as it is, I didn't want to change the sound of the car with the installation of the headers. If you want more than 670 thats your choice, but you'll have plenty of fun if you don't. Just remember that you'll need to keep the car still and lay that power down, its not just the charger you will need its suspension, brakes, drive train, the higher you go.
Play it safe, if you want to know how a 670 with a lund tune feels your welcome to come out with me, I would also think that if you wanted to know what 800 feels like im sure mac will take you out in his, but remember all the other upgrades mac has done and spent.

Hi #spogshd,
I d love to meet up in the near future if possible and see what your set up is like if you don't mind before I pull the trigger. I'm near Warrington so probably not too far from you. Would really appreciate.
Thanks
Ant
