Hey how are you? Got it back but not at all happy. I think I need to get down and see Mike at modurstang. At least he knows what he's doing.Hi Spider
Did you get your car fixed okay. I was sorry to miss the show hope you had a good time. Just as well I wasnt there as may have one first prize.:ford:
been waiting for you to turn up i've been carrying all my tools in the boot ready to strip bits off for weeks now. Will try to get to the next Don Valley Cruise night weather permitting.
That's bollocks. I'm on the unfortunate opposite side of the fence (and hate it), having just made people redundant. There's processes you go through contractually. Unless it's a dismissal for missconduct, they can't remove you effective immediatley (Unless you're day rate contractor, it's in the contract, zero hours, contracted to do something and they opt to can that something, etc) if you're permanent it's a good 2-3months or so before hitting you, Vol Redundancy has to be offered etc.I just lost my job today, effective immediately. I may take it to court as it seems VERY fishy. If I don't find a job soon, mounting debt means I'll have to sell the car to clear everything. If anyone is in need of a Web Developer, throw me a line. If anyone wants a black Mustang GT with GT350 wheel and H-Pipe cat-back, also let me know.
Cheers guys.
Ahh mate, that's shit. Does sound like something dodgy is going on. Talk to as many agencies as you can would be my advice, specialists rather than the generic ones. I'm sure a cool young chap like yourself driving a Mustang will make a good impression ;) fresh start lad..get on that CV! Oh trust me I've already sought legal advice and my Brother in Law has offered me access to his solicitors free of charge. When I explained it to him he wasted no time giving me their number, and he's not one to do stuff like that. That's bollocks. Already got a long list of jobs in the area - every single one of them is a good £7k minimum more than what I was on, so if anything its a payrise. Already pushed my CV out there and will be making phone calls today after I get my front tyres changed this morning and speak to Citizen's Advice.Ahh mate, that's shit.
