Ha. Forgot to mention I do have the electronics package...I went old school enough with the 95R with no A/C, etc. and it's frickin' hot at times especially with the way the 95R was designed with very thin floor boards and the header heat...

Welcome and beautiful car!
Hopefully the CEL is nothing major. Good luck.
Unfortunately t's VERY major...It appears during the forging of the block, it was not cleaned appropriately which caused SAND and DEBRIS to hold the thermostat open which caused the CEL. As soon as the car was put on the computer with the issue at the dealer service center, engineering from Ford Corp. called immediately asking for water samples, etc. and they informed them of the issue of what happened.

I've asked for a new car at minimum and dot not want a motor change out. Too much liability with sand and debris no one can say for sure if the entire motor is contaminated and a huge liability down the road a simple flush will fix. (How many more parts are contaminated with sand, water pump seals, etc?) I will not take that chance and should ever be expected to settle for a Ford screw up of this magnitude... The President of the dealership is not talking with Ford direct, he's on my side and very honest about it. All this with 64 miles on the car. Nice day I'm having.

After exhaustive inspections of the fluids and samples taken, there are no debris, residue. Thermostat was removed (still stuck open after removed) and replaced. Ford Engineering is requesting the thermostat sent to them for further eval.

Right now, just enjoying the sound and suspension which I am still pretty shocked at, THIS IS A FORD? Wow.

Big decision now if this will be my daily driver or the weekend car with my 2011 Dinan tuned M3 taking on that daily role.

P.S. Still hoping the stripes grow on me...

Looking at your car makes me wish I had blue stripes on mine.:hail:
I do love the clean look with the stripe delete too. One day I'll pull these off and go naked. Then I'll go black with red trim. And one day after that back to blue with red.

Has anyone noticed a lot of GT350 look like they have positive camber in the rear.

Love the old gas station and the rims. Is your car lowered?
