Hi Guys,

Nice to meet you all! Been stalking the forums like crazy the past few weeks especially the delivery process, Thanks Manders!

I am from Inverness and looking to take delivery in the next couple of weeks. It got off the Tamerlane on 02/04/2017 into Zebrugge. Anybody in the same boat? (pun intended)

I have ordered a 5.0 Fastback in Shadow Black, all options but not the custom pack.

Current MODs sitting in my garage are:
- Roush Axle Back Exhaust
- Ford X Pipe
- Rear Light Tints to be fitted


I would love to get the DRL's but London is miles away to get it fitted!

Are there any other members on here from around my way? I saw someone from Aberdeen, and also I heard about the crash up here recently!

Far too excited I even dreamt about it arriving last night!

Hey, welcome to the forums !

There's a few Scottish people, or 'McMustang' owners with their haggis fueled cars who will be along shortly (@Lone Survivor sets up a lot of meets up there).

Sounds a good set of mods, you going to tint the windows or blackout the badges as I assume your rear lights will go black (if not totally ignore that).


Fortis just got an installer in Bangor, but that's probably no use to you lol. (The Front DRLs) It's worth the wait, but it's obviously a pig for your scotts, let alone me who was complaining at having a 6hr return travel (2hr driving 4hr public transport back up)

Yeah the windows will be getting tinted too. Wanted to get it all done before I actually pick it up so that I am walking into it looking fantastic.

I am not going for the blacked out tint on the rear lights, just the red tints from Anchor rooms, I think it looks better on the black Mustangs. Again found it on the forums! haha

Still undecided on the badges! Not sure I want to hide the badge by making it black, definitely want the wheel nuts in black though!

Who knows ay! ALl that matters is you make the car your own and you love it, I'm keeping my logo's chrome, after having a second pony and spraying it matte black, to go on my gloss black grille, didn't look right imo, it worked, but wasn't a fan, so sold it :lol:

Welcome aboard , open your wallet and leave it open! I had a few things done so when I picked it up it was close to how I wanted it! Good luck for pick up.

:welcome: A few owners up your neck of the woods, Elgin, Thurso but by far the most in and around Aberdeen.

Currently mulling over a biggish meet @ Julyish, to take in the Braemar/Cockbridge/Tomintoul area before moving through Inverness down the west coast via the south side of the Loch.

Might do a McMustang meet in May, so keep your eye out for it

On a separate topic, where did you get your stripes fitted and would you recommend them? Im over in Glasgow regularly for work anyway and im struggling to get a good recommendation for a local place..
