I got my car last spring and my first thing to do was a window tint. For various reasons, none of which matter here, I didn't/couldn't get it done.

Anyway I have been looking doing it myself. I have a vert, so doing the rear shouldn't be so bad:shrug: I have tinted one of my previous trucks and found it to be good.

If anyone has done so, where did you get your tint and what kind. I have looked on ebay and found lots of ceramic films (or so they claim) in the US for a lot cheaper than a shop doing it.

I am gonna tackle my lights this spring, so I am thinking the windows should be a breeze..

Thoughts?

I was hoping that I'd find a trick to do the back window :) Tinted other rides with great success but this window looks impossible to do. looking at a louver to fix the problem.

Looking for a good spot to purchase some ceramic??????

Ebay has lots of sellers with "ceramic" tint. Just don't know how legit some of these sellers are???

just have a shop do it... you will thank me.... the back seat is a ************ to get in to tint the back window. The sides being frameless require more time and heat since the windows " vent" when the door is opened and closed.... the window tint needs shrunk due to the curve. i know you wanna save money, but just spend the extra and let a shop do it.

just fyi the tint itself only costs around $60, its the experience that makes up the rest of how much it costs.. I can tint these cars in under an hour from start to finish.

Saving money is great, but I had a crap load of trouble last year trying to line it up. And I really don't don't to go through all that again.

But I will probably take your advice. And besides, when to tint shop does it, a lifetime warranty is offered...

Thanx for the advice......
