At 130 mine was flexing, ive seen it on other cars as long as it doesnt open is there a issue?

If the single latch fails, you are screwed. When you see the hood moving around it is fighting to pull itself from the factory latch. There is a reason a real hood pin kit and not the standard latch assembly is used on most race cars. GT350R-C

Great to see you made whole again....I know its been a long wait. Good luck with your new baby and hope to see you next month back at Roebling if you get her broken in by then.
We were in Savannah this past weekend and I heard about that truck... is it pretty good?

Here's a hood on one of our brand new F550. Maybe the car engineers should take a class from the truck engineers.

My first set of fronts wore out and they ordered the wrong
SC2 tires, I took them, because of the 10 day wait.
Event thought SC2 they were not the spec tire.
same ratings except weight, I noticed different sidewall,
slight different in treads design,, they did not stick as good,
wore better and trammed less.
Once the new set of 4 came, I changed them all, the spec tire
trams far more. I suspect partly due to how sticky they are.
I have had no issue with hood lift.
Fastest I have been going was about 170 mph

Screwed is putting it mildly, lol. I had this happen on an older Mustang and I would add blued and tattooed to your screwed. :headbonk:

I would definitely consider the G-Trac bar if it actually helps solve the problem. You are absolutely correct about the tires. I am considering some sort of non- obtrusive ... Dare I say.. mud flap to protect the sides of the car from small rocks. I like JLT's Rock blockers, but that's not going to do enough. :shrug:
Running 305 / 325 Contis and they have been great for DD. They ride a bit softer and all but eliminated tramlining. If you ever decide to get dedicated street tires its a thought.

It's a good fast technical track that's a little over 2 miles in length with good runoff in most corners and is very conducive to learning on or cutting your teeth on so to speak.

Regarding the hood flutter, my GT500 scared me to death. My 350 starts to noticeably flutter around 130ish I would guess. It doesn't really bother me too bad compared to my GT500, which definitely needed hood pins. Here are some pics of my car at speed. I tried to zoom as best I could without completely distorting the image. You can see some hood flex, but it doesn't look too bad to me. Maybe you will have better luck zooming than me.
