Saw Boomba factory BOV underwater leak video, wonder if my factory BOV could be causing issues as well ? In video the oem valve leaks pretty good .

You might wanna get rid of that, im not sure if it a great idea to use the factory one with this bigger Turbo. I thought as well you might not have preloaded your wastegate actuator enough as well. Give it 3 1/2 turns to make sure that bad boy has some load on it.

Actually I'm using Adams turbo smart waste gate, preload was 4 turns, and bought the Boomba BOV, a couple hours ago, Have a brand new turbo smart race port, and silicone pipes from Tony, but decided I don't want to deal with with having to take apart stuff when smog chk time arrives here in damn Cali, as they do visual inspection here.

The wastegate is easy enough to swap out. Try the factory one that the VS2 shipped with.

Thanks Juben was just thinking of doing that, I wonder if that will mess with Adams tune though ?

Also want to thank everyone for helping me out with this, I'm new to turbo stuff so I'm learning as I go, and hopefully don't break anything as I have an early Spain built motor.

If you try it, use the base tune file he sent you. It should be dialed back enough to where the boost isn't gonna go sky high (if the problem is the wastegate). I would recommend mentioning it to him though and seeing if he wants to send you a base file for the VS2 wastegate.

As stated yesterday via email you can test the wastegate itself, but what you are seeing isn't too uncommon with the VS2 as mentioned as well. Test the wastegate with pressure to see if it is leaking at the diaphragm, if nothing then it could be elsewhere. The biggest issue you have with your car is inconsistent boost during spool. Your car never peaks, ever.
