Aarron_M said it right. I wouldn't recommend going wider then the 255 that the wheel currently has on it. If I remember correctly, the Black Accent Package Cars have 19x9" Wheels at all 4 corners. Your best bet to get a nice flush appearance would be to pick up a set of our Black Billet Aluminum 25mm Hub Centric Wheel Spacers. Picking up a pair of these for the front and rear of your car will give you the exact look you are trying to achieve while keeping a safe tire on your wheel that is easy to replace down the road. Keep in mind that just running a wider tire will not give you the look you are after.Anyone know how wide of a tire I can safely fit on the black accent rims? Maybe an 8.5" wheel, not sure. Came wrapped in 255s....P zeros are about 9k in and want to start looking at options to flush it out a bit.
We have sold a lot of these and have not heard of any quality issues. We have customers that have had these on their cars for almost a year with over 10k Miles and they show no signs of wear or failure.I've always been skeptical about wheel spacers, no real reason I guess. Are these safe to run?
Sorry for the noob question...they need to be torqued on the spacer side to 150ft/lbs too, right? We have sold a lot of these and have not heard of any quality issues. We have customers that have had these on their cars for almost a year with over 10k Miles and they show no signs of wear or failure.
No, you only have to torque the spacer at the hub to Ford Spec. The wheel to the spacer will be fine at 100-110ft/lbs.Sorry for the noob question...they need to be torqued on the spacer side to 150ft/lbs too, right?
