I went to my first American car meet tonight.

Unfriendliest group of rednecks I ever did meet.

Im so disappointed! (I was the only Ford there, it was mainly Chevy and some Dodge).

:(

I wont let it put me off though.... im attending a cars and coffee at the end of the month plus a big American car event on the same day.

can anyone tell me where I can find with what strength I may tighten the wheel nuts and the bolts of the calipers?
Factory wheels and nuts: 150 ft.lb

Don't know factory caliper bolt torque.

Do they have a website? Would love to go along with you to break through the unfriendliness...

That number sounds wrong to me......would be something like 210 Nm, a number used mainly for trucks and not cars.

My tyre place reckons around 150 NM is normal for Mustang.

Just stick to Mustang meets. A very different experience will await you

Next one is September 11th in Boxtel (a bit North of Eindhoven)

For the local Belgians, I'm having a small cars & coffee tryout on the 21st, just a hangout with old & new mustangs, coffee and a small road trip. Let me know if you want location details ;)

Try Classic Summer Meet in Genk
About 250-400 cars when weather is good.
Every Wednesday starting at 1800h
Always 4 M6g's.
2 guys of the crew drive a blue and red one.

Take a look in the Manual, 204NM is indeed correct for the Mustang. I wouldn't try to tighten them less, especially here on the Autobahn

Boxtel is only 30mins drive for me - is the event covered somewhere on the forum?

That's why you shouldn't trust someone's guess over what's in your owner's manual. ;) The proper torque is 150 ft.lbs (~204 N m) as I posted.
