To the average ecoboost owner, they are not going to run 10s on this turbo.

the average ecoboost owner wont run 10s period even with a 6262 and built motor

The Vargas thread is 6 days old. Hardly "weeks!". So, if YOU'RE going to try and be a wise guy, at least do it right.

By the way, I was busting his balls since he copied the Vargas thread verbatim.
Actually it's not, they had another thread already, I forgot y'all need two threads for fluffing and no results

I could see that. Im just not a drag racer. My car isnt even setup that way. Its set up for mostly autox/street driving and hopefully by the end of the year or early next year HPDE

That video wasn't even the final tune for boost. That video was maybe only 22psi. Now I'm running 24-25psi and on meth it's crazy.
What was the dyno numbers from, the 22psi tune or 24-25? @21+ PSI and with a faulty BOV and a couple of random boost leaks I was making 353WHP and 386WTQ

I have not been back to Dez racing to do another run yet on the fixed setup, new BOV and I am running the same boost level as you 24-25ish (I say ish because I sometimes hit 26psi without leaning out depending on temp and hum).

I start to go lean over 27PSI hence why I am installing the meth kit this Sat. :)

That dyno was at 24psi on meth. the other curve was on 93. I did back to back pulls with 0 cool down and the setup was amazingly consistent.

There is only one thread that is geared towards results of running the VS2. It was just recently shipped out, so I am not quite sure what you are complaining about. There has been results from the VS2, from Vargas. The numbers and graphs are posted, but no quarter mile times that I've seen.

This thread is about the MAP Kit with the GTX2867r turbo, not the VS2. By the way, which turbo are you running again?
I knkw what thread this is lol

Any reason your not shooting for higher boost with the aux fuel (meth injection) over the 24 commanded psi?

Just curious, and it is not lost on me that you may have hit your target power. I am in the same camp on keeping it reliable etc.

Come winter boost will increase. The ecu controls boost and timing dependent on atmospheric conditions and charge temps. I plan on going to a dynojet around the end of october to get higher dyno numbers. Id imagine on meth im actually closer to 410whp than 400whp. Either way way over my expectations of 385-390 on meth with this turbo.

If you look at the focus st guys, they arent even making near the tq im making and they have a difficult time making the same hp even with a better flowing head.

The next phase for the motor will be e85 if it ever becomes nationally available. If not in 3yrs Ill probably do a built bottom end and a better flowing head once those hit the market. Right now however the power is perfect and loads of fun.

Yeah there is more tq lol. The stock turbo feels great on take off but gets lazy up top. With 1st gear being so high the take off on this turbo is very smooth and doesnt have that lag type felling like most big turbos. Power is very linear and flattens out up top. The car feels like it just keeps pulling up to 5500.

Whats really nice is the tq hump between 4-5.5k. Its veery snappy when shifting as each shift brings you back into peak tq powerband. This is great cause it thrust the car with each up shift.

On stock turbo each up shift feels lazier than the last, on the 5558 each up shift has to respool back into peak tq and hp.

Id imagine the 2867r on an AT with trans tune would be nuckin futs with nice smooth power

Thanks for posting, great looking graph. This would be my choice later down the road with my ecoboost. I had this same turbo on my 2.0 liter nissan 240sx and made 420 on e85. Love the spool and sound of the gtx series.
