I'll use foam brushes.
I did not found them at my local hardware store.. but I bought a bunch of brushes :D

I'm thinking about having calipers painted too, but with yellow :)

What do you think?
yellow is nice with some colors! In DIY section there is a black mustang with green calipers, also very nice!

Yeah I underestimated it.. it tooks a lot of works. Moreover, you need to let it dry 24 hours so that weekend car was stopped from fri to sun.
:D I have now almost 12.000 km!
But probably I save on money if I pay for some parts and keep my car stopped without burning our high-taxation fuel...

Steeda clutch spring assist
from Steeda.co.uk 11,75 GBP (+12 GBP shipping!!)
a softer spring that allows a better clutch engage control. It's a 10-minute mod and worths the price (without shipping...)
(tip: if you plan to order something from US with Stackry, get this from Steeda US for 15 USD and save those crazy shipping costs from UK)

I have received mine today, didn't know it was so big :D Still don't have the car but if everyone changing it it will be good :D

:D you shound replace it after some thousands of kms... so you will notice the difference :)
Also be sure to have a channel lock\grip lock pliers: will make the difference from a 1-hour hard job to a 5-minutes easy job!

A whole different car.

That's my Mustang after today's mod: Magnaflow Street cat-back exhaust
:ninja:

My good friend Stecca is a mechanic so I carried all parts to his garage today

Installation took us about an hour, most of the time trying to align the tips in the rear valance

And the result:

Tips are still a bit misaligned, on the left it is a bit lower but hey, you won't notice if I haven't tell you :D and after all we can't do better than this!
But the most important thing, the one that convinced me to buy it: THE SOUND!

Well, it's A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!

Really amazing. Deep, deeep, deeeep tone when starting and idle, not too loud when driving fast (but louder than before), and some gurgling and 'banging' when revving :D wow!
No way you can think it's a stock exhaust.. hope that cops won't care about that, like the don't care about my other mods! :paddle:

Unfortunately my Nexus 5 has some issues with audio recording in videos, so no proof of that for now. Tomorrow I'll grab my mom's Nexus 5X and try to record the combination Magnaflow Street + MMR CAI :clap2:

A huge THANK YOU to RicambiAmericani.com, the italian reseller where I bought this beauty, for the fast shipping :clap2: and all of you guys that convinced me to change the exhaust :)

Just did an 1-hour drive around my place with a friend. Amazing sound, even if to be honest, the 'wooshhhhh' from the CAI is a bit 'oppressive' on the exhaust sound. Don't get me wrong, it's cool, but you can't hear the magnaflow completely because the moment you pass 2k rpm the turbo pops in :D

Until now police stopped me only one time (in 10 months) and they didn't care at all about the car. I thought they would said something like "cool car", but.. nothing!

Meanwhile, my fuel consumption dropped from 11,4 km\l to 10,4 km\l in only 12 hours :D

Police stopped me also one time until now, they took the car papers and explained to me :

"well, that's a lot of money for this little piece of paper, wasn't it ? (with a big smile)"

Then I could continue my way

A chance, that happened in the north east of france during a family trip and yes, the policeman was very friendly. If that happens in my area, I'd have to put the OEM exhaust back... :ninja:

And I think, it was the first time he saw this car (for that he stopped me :headbonk:) :D
