What spacers Ericc? Eibach? I want to use 20mm or 1 inch on all 4 for the summer. Had it lowered with Pro Kit and it looks just aweful.

Regarding that bumper screw, the first time I improvised: took the hexagonal head(the one that turns the screw idk name) and jammed it's tail in a 6-7 (mm I think) wrench/spanner. Took me a while because there was no clickety and I had to unscrew and put it back again -.-

Just ordered 20mm front and 23mm back. 10 days.

So far I have used two sets of 23mm by Hofmann from Germany, bought them through https://www.velocity-group.de/

Still awaiting my 20mm Eibachs as I think they will look a tad better than the 23's in the rear. For the front I'm staying with the 23mm.

Mind you anything smaller than 25mm requires modifications to either the wheel studs or the wheels themselves to fit properly.

In short: the wheels studs are too long. The ends will stick through your spacer and poke into the pockets that are on the backside of your wheel, in between the holes. Now these pockets have limited depth. The thinner your spacer the more the studs will stick out.

With a 25mm spacer the part of the stud that sticks through fits completely in the wheel pockets, no mods needed.

With a 23mm spacer the part that sticks through is about 1mm too long to fit in the wheel pockets.

With a 20mm spacer the part that sticks through is about 4mm too long to fit in the wheel pockets.

Most people have solved this by cutting one or more mm from the studs. I have taken a different route and had a specialist bore out the pockets in my wheels a few mm, so the longer stud ends now fit in there perfectly.

Hey, I'd like to change oil in my pony soon, the point is that I don't trust my dealer and i want to get proper oil on my own.

Could you recommend something? I heard that Amsoil/Motul 5w20 are approved by Ford.
But I'm wondering if oil class 5w20 will be fine in our climat.

you are rocking the 20s now right Ericc? a bit curious to see how your lowering would look with the 19s... ever since you pointed out that the front rode a tiny bit higher than the rears I have been unable to unsee it :D

and since I've "popped the cherry" anyhoo I might as just tweak the car out as far as cash goes... (though I did just break a molar - so maybe I need to wait... no dental plans in Norway, just cash... lot's of it... to fix :( )

oops... spacers are illegal here I think... the "popo" is very strict about that due to several people doing "cray-cray" stuff with their cars...

In that case I would recommend that you either get 20" wheels with proper ET first or do not lower your car. Lowering with the stock wheels without spacers looks silly.
