All my stuff is from Final Inspection. Very impressed with it and would recommend. Check out their you tube page.
Just get Body Armor 9h applied to body, wheels and glass and all you need after that is a regular wash. NO MORE polishing. in the long term, you will save money and maintain a better finish.

Seconded. Final Inspection's product range is top notch.

Had my GTI done with their Full Metal Jacket coating and it was bloody awesome. They also have a top up spray version which is ace.

If anyone is using the foam lance attachment
Which PH neutral shampoo are you using & recommend?
Thanks in advance!

Doing some more research on this today as I need to buy my pressure washer soon.

I already have a bottle of the Mint Snow foam, but there is an aussie one called 'Snow Foam' too, ill try them both out, using the Karcher K5 washer and foam lance.

The local Snow Foam specifically says it is PH neutral. They sell the lance and a couple bottles of foam in a pack/deal on the website or ebay.

Video has probably been posted before but since the question has come up again here it is.

I guess snow foam will be effective for vehicles that are driven daily which are subject to the daily contaminants. It is a great product to use to help cleaning the duco, no doubt. For vehicles that are kept in the garage and driven say once per week IMO I find it unnecessary because if your non daily driver is well maintained (polished & sealed/waxed with a buffer/polisher) then carefully pressure washing should remove contaminants prior to hand washing.

Thanks for sharing the video. It depicts a snow foam, pressure wash and a dry is all that is needed. If it was my corvette or ferrari I surely wouldn't be doing just that. A hand wash is necessary after the foam to remove the contaminants to mitigate any particles that may scratch your duco while drying it. Apologies if I may have missed something but that's how I have perceived the video.

I guess they are only interested in selling their product.
I don't look at snow foam as a one step wash either, but I do see how it can be an important step.

Totally agree with you.

I have posted this pick somewhere else but considering this is the WWD thread, for those that have the stock rims where it's difficult to get behind the rim, I purchased these wheel woollies. If anyone has any other product to get behind the wheel please share. I know the other alternative is getting the wheels off.

I don't have any images, as I don't have a car yet ( august ) but I have seen cars done by the local agent and they look fantastic. Very intensive preparation before coating is applied.
I spent a lot of time researching various products, opticoat etc. and have settled on Body Armour.

I was approached by a dealer selling Williams Ceramic Coat protection etc.

Has anyone herd or used this product in Australia?

I think its the same as opticoat. My dealer 'offered' it to me too at a discounted price of $2k, but I decided to go to with Frank at definitive and i'm so happy I did. For the same amount I got much more with Frank

I spoke to a detailer once, and he told me that he suspects that on occasion dealers charge for the service but don't actually apply the treatments. That sounds completely dodgy, but it wouldn't surprise me if that happens.
