Corsa Xtreme Catback

Hi guys,

Ive decided on getting the Corsa Xtreme 3inch Catback for my GT. Anyone had this system done to here in the UK? If so would you recommend it or is it far too loud for the UK?

Also any suggestions on the cheapest place to get this from?
American Muscle seem to be the only quote I can get at £1600 shipped and delivered. Any UK suppliers out there?

You've just missed out on one in the classifieds for around £700. It's bonkers loud from the videos I've seen. Definitely one for a weekend toy only if you want to scare some livestock on a country road or the neighbours. Not as a daily for me.

Ahh see i use mine as a daily for work, and im worried it may be too loud or get annoying. At the same time i dont want to buy say the Ford Racing Sport by Borla or Corsa Sport catback and then it not be loud enough for me to wish Id gone for the xtreme lol. Would love to hear one in person, ive heard the youtube videos dont do it justice but any ideas if the xtreme is quiet when shifting really early and gentle throttle? Also worried about getting stopped by the feds for it being so loud?

This is one supplier but Nemesis will supply soon too. Be aware the exhaust is very very loud. Plod will hunt you down :eyebulge:. Corsa Sport is a much better bet.

Only fit the Extreme if you plan to never do headers or de-cats, as the extreme is very VERY LOUD!

I've got the sport which sounds totally awesome, quiet in the cabin, loud outside the car and maintains tone throughout rev range, never goes tinny or raspy.

The sport is loud, I plan to fit headers soon at which point sport becomes very loud.

Headers with Xtreme is nascar loud and insane.

You are right to say the videos do not do it justice because it is an awesome sound BUT honestly I would not have it on a daily driver lol. My car is a weekend toy and to have fun in, which this exhaust for me adds to that fun.
Yes you can control the volume of the exhaust by shifting early i.e. I had to leave mine at 5:30am last Saturday so I got it started up (morning neighbours lol) and then pulled away and got it in to 3rd quite quickly whilst heading out.
COLD START is loud because of the high idle but once warmed it settles in to a nice rumble and out on the road you can easily cruise along on the motorway and hear nothing, no drone and just a nice rumble when you accelerate to overtake. When getting on it though, it's so much fun and at this point I have a grin from ear to ear.
So if you live in the middle of no where and the cold starts everyday will not bother your neighbours then go for it but if not then as a daily I would advise against it.
