For those who are stuck with SYNC 2 / FordTouch

As I thought I was getting SYNC 2 in my car earlier, I was looking for a suitable upgrade without spending close to 3k for SYNC 3. I found this:

Seems pretty cool! - it shows mirrors your phone to the screen & it allows you to add few more cameras (Front / side cameras)!! Not sure how legal it is and how well it works, but for navigation etc - may be a lot better

Unfortunately for those who are getting SYNC 3 - they have not released one for it yet :frusty:

I have been thinking of getting sync3 oem but it's quite expensive! From the video this option seems a bit incomplete or the graphics are not that good. Definitely worth researching more.

I optioned the VR package because it was cheaper than the spare wheel option.

I have no problem with SYNC 2 with MFT. I am on my 3rd car with the system and it does everything i need it to do very well.

In fact, the SYNC 2 with MFT system in my SHO is one of the reasons why we bought our Explorer Sport.

[MENTION=21594]Stubai[/MENTION] I reckon SYNC 2 is awesome. You got the 4 corners for the 4 main functions (nav, climate, entertainment, phone interface) and it's so simple and fast enough that I have absolutely no gripes at all :cheers:
