Lovely day today so started off by giving the car a snow foam:)

In the sunlight you can really see how much metallic is in the paint....looks great

Then I decided to fit my tail light tints from anchor room...:ninja:
Left side done

These pics shows tail lights ON

Brake Lights ON

Tail lights and rear FOG which has been tinted

Indicators

Also did the orange side reflectors

Brake lights and tinted out rear fog......high level brake light tinted...

And the finished job.

How did you manage to do the tints? I tried mine and it was far too cold so it wouldn't stick, I also found it wouldn't fit too well. Seemed to be an overlap at the bottom of the lens? Anchor Room said I shouldn't attempt until it's at least 20 degrees outside.

Ah right, it hasn't stopped raining for about 3 days up here & its freezing cold! :frusty:
Did you find the vinyl lined up 100% correctly? I tried the drivers side outer edge one and coulnd't get a straight line across the bottom without overlap at the top like the instructional video suggests. Whichever way i moved it around there was either overlap at the top or a bit at the bottom. I know its supposed to overlap at the vertical edge and wrap around but the bottom seemed a bit odd.

Yes there was a bit of overlap on the straight edge, and on the bottom, but I just tucked it under, and applied hair dryer heat and it stuck no problem....

Just have to take your time and use a bit of heat... If it goes wrong, just pull em off, soak them again, and have another go.

Will do, waiting on a replacement drivers side at the minute as the one i tried accidentally got stuck to the wrong side of the backing paper
$3 for replacement bit ..... $15 shipping :eyebulge:

Looks so much better well done on doing it yourself. I have red light tints from Dennis on European Forum plus grey tint for fog light & side of headlights from Anchor Room. Will look to get the guys that will be doing the side stripes to fit the tints as they are wrapping experts. Just need the cat now- one week in Zeebrugge so far!

I spoke to a wrapping expert (2 actually) and neither would touch them. Reason being if they damaged them then replacement isnt just available off the shelf quickly.

I can't see that having red lights instead of pink, would be an issue:shrug:

Hmm, i dont know...
I have light smoked tints for mine but when i first clapped eyes on the thing one of my immediate reactions was to question if i really want to change that much about it, so i probably wont care too much if i cant fit the tints. The white lights are nowhere near as bad as I'd built them up to be over the last year.

My view is, they light up red when on, they go a lot brighter when braking, and the indicators flash bright orange.....Like changing the orange reflector on the side for red, it still reflects. So in other words, they do what they're supposed to do..;)

Are folk declaring LED upgrades??
