Got my renewal through the other day for my ecoboost. £545 for 32year old, 11years no claims protected, 10k miles and social domestic, pleasure and commuting.

Gonna shop around and call them to shave a few quid off but I'm happy at that.

Yep and i have to include the 'youre not over 25' and the 'this maybe daddys money' factor and the 'boy racer' factor to mine. Although only being under 25 is the correct one. W@nkers.

Same.....:)....just redone the quote as a multi car..(might stick my old Jeep on it) and price is now £159.91 for the Mustang..:D
Mods and it just stays the same, odd, woman on the Directline chat told me that anything that 'Makes the car more desirable, or improves performance' will need to be disclosed. I assume they're for theft and risk purposes?

I explained that I was fitting a Ford Borla Touring exhaust.... The chap went off to discuss with the underwriter, and came back saying it made no difference...... And they would happily put it in writing..:amen:

PS he also added that stripes wouldn't be an issue..(I don't like em anyway) BUT a wrap could be a problem getting cover....

I'm very persuasive but I have heard they're hard to get approved with certain insurance companies, i'll take it being written that I have a wrap, but not that they'll cover the wraps cost as a victory to myself.
