Just bought mine last week. Everyone seems to point to tune and full exhaust

Make your own catback set up (midpipe & axleback) -- no tune required.

Most seem to say about 50-60rwhp with tune, cai, and headers....about 30-35 without headers.

hi concrete gt. i'm in new zealand. "CTB performance", a company in auckland with the " Streetfighter " brand is claiming 550 HP with a high flow intake and tune and 650 HP if you add an exhaust and entry level inercooler. doesn't match up from what i've seen on these forums. look up their website if you got time. thanks, tom

If they're talking those HP levels and intercoolers they're talking about forced induction, supercharger or turbo....you'd have to rebuild the entire block, intake, heads and exhaust to get those kind of numbers naturally aspirated.
Maybe they're talking about the GT350?

you mean catback by itself is 2-7 hp, a tune alone opens this car up significantly from the plethora of posts ive read here.

Okay, 17-22 with a tune, lol. To the OP, I'm just pulling #s out of my arse.

If you go by manufacturer's claims, if it's a tune and only a tune, around 15-25 to the wheels depending on how aggressive the tune is.

I wouldn't waste my time and void my warranty with a tune if I was just going to do a tune alone without other power adders (cai or exhaust isn't a power adder.) Headers at the very minimum would be the requirement for me to get a tune and void my warranty. Otherwise just enjoy an exhaust and maybe a pedalmax if you want to improve throttle response,

Sucks, but I'm with you. Really wish there was a way to get 50+ HP with warranty friendly mods. Also sucks that I don't believe any of the CAI installs do anything but make you feel good.
