Best tires for race stars

I've got a manual pp gt and I ordered race stars, but not sure what tires to get. I was planning on a bias ply, but not sure how they will work for Saturday night car meets. I am now thinking I should maybe go with a drag radial for dual purpose track and street, but fear I will lose performance at the track.

Any opinions are welcome.

The rims I have on order are 18x5 fronts and 17x9.5 rears.

I'm running 119.5 in quarter now on street tires to give an idea of where the car is for performance.
